Eastern Towhee
We heard this Eastern Towhee at Bald Point State Park, Florida while hiking close to the shore, then spotted it in a tree near the boardwalk close to sunset on May 30, 2022 (Memorial Day).
Scarlet Tanager
This was one of the first birds that we ID’ed via sound using Cornell’s Merlin Bird ID app and then spotted it in a nearby tree in the Rosy Mound Natural Area, Michigan on May 9, 2022 at 1:47 pm.
