This morning is a bit of a rarity.  I don’t have to go to work today, and a have a couple hours before I have to be out of the house.  So, I am not rushing around trying to get out of the door.  I woke up to the sound of rain, but now there are just a couple snowflakes floating to the ground.  Even though the sun is technically up, it is overcast outside, which means that my house is dark and still.

Typically, I like all the lights to be ablaze, and I keep myself busy flitting about the house going from one task to the next.

But there’s something nice about this stillness and quiet. I’m going to keep the light low for a short time, grab a coffee, and reflect upon my day. It’ll be nice to have a low-key morning.
