I hope you have all been enjoying the reread-a-thon so far!
Today’s theme is: Childhood Favorite.
One book popped into my head as soon as I heard about this theme for today and has stuck with me for weeks:

This is the cover I had as a child. Most of my physical books from childhood have been lost, so I’ll be reading a Kindle version.
This is a lovely story about an ordinary princess who runs away from her parents who are trying to hide her ordinariness so that they can marry her off. She would rather be herself, play in the forest, and get dirty, instead of all the boring, stuffy things that princesses have to do.
The author also illustrated the book and the line drawings are fantastic!

Giveaway Details
From the time I was selected to help host the Reread-a-thon, I have been excited about the giveaway. I have been a voracious reader since my Pre-K days and want to celebrate that, so I tried to think of what puts me in a reading mood.
A good book (required), coffee (yum!), and a cozy place to read (maybe a pillow or a blanket to cuddle up in or sit on outside on a nice sunny day).
To make sure you have what you need, I will be giving away a $40 Amazon gift card and a $10 Starbucks gift card to one lucky winner!

Happy re-reading!
Thank you so much for the chance. I’ve enjoyed just being able to reread some of my favorite books and I love seeing what everyone else is rereading. My twitter handle is @mistysbookspace
I love the community aspects, also! I forget that some of my friends aren’t readers when I try to talk about a great book I just read. 🙂
I don’t know anyone in my everyday life that likes to read so I only get to talk to the online community about the books I’m reading.
What I’ve enjoyed the most is the feeling I get when I reading Persuasion it’s one of my all time favorites and it has been a while since I read it, and I’m just so hapoy in every page.
@pfbubble
This is my first readathon and I’m enjoying seeing what others are reading so I can get recommendation for future reading! 🙂 I’m @onecraftchick
Yes! I’ve read so many good books based on recommendations!
My favorite part of rereadathon has actually been seeing what other readers have been reading. I’ve seen a lot of titles that I’ve never heard of and I’ve added a few to my Goodreads want to read list. I’m @ValKnow418 on Twitter.
I really have enjoyed the sense of community during the readathon, the comments between participants, talking about how we feel that book is our favourite and why we love to re-read it… My twitter is @amoeba00
I’ve been enjoying refreshing myself on all the details. I realized in one book that I hardly remembered anything! It was almost like reading it again for the first time. My Twitter is @otherbookbuddy. Thanks!
Kaelene, congratulations! You won the giveaway!
My favorite thing about the rereadathon has definitely been talking to other people about their favorite books and adding them to my TBR, and suggesting some of my own favorites as well. It’s been such a fun experience, and I’ll definitely be participating next time. It has totally reminded me that even with a large pile of new releases on my TBR, it’s still okay to reread some books that I already know I love.

Me too! I have a whole TBR bookshelf, but sometimes you just want a book that you know will make you happy, or to revisit some characters that are like old friends.
I did a re-read by listening to the audiobook version of a novel I loved when I read it years ago. It’s called On Canaan’s Side by Sebastian Barry, a favourite author of mine – and Irish for the month of March. And the Irish reader, Wanda McCaddon is very good, which makes so much difference for an audiobook. @MaynardLara
I enjoyed The variety of Books i discovered throught The New people i met.
I can’t wait to repeat it next year.

I enjoyed finding about books that I haven’t read, but other people love and have reread them. My TBR is even longer now lol, but thank you!
I love the seeing everyone’s favorite books! I’ve added a lot more books to my TBR because of this readathon lol.
I also love reliving the experiemce and emotions I felt when I first read my favorite books. It usually makes me guilty rereading books instead of reading a book off my TBR, but this has been such a fun readathon becausd everyone is so encouraging.
Thanks for the giveaways! ❤ @bookishsaudade
I’ve enjoyed re-reading old and new favorites this re-read-athon. 🙂 I used to re-read often, but do so rarely now, so it was nice to have more motivation this week. It has been interesting revisiting what I’ve loved in the past and seeing if my feelings have changed. I also loved interacting with other readers. 💕 @amn384
